[JOUR 1 –  JEUDI 09 MARS]

Ce jeudi marque le début de ce championnat de France et coupe d’Europe Universitaire ! Un départ sur les chapeaux de roues puisque les 30 équipages en compétition ont enchainé plus de 15 manches dans des conditions musclées et pluvieuses. À la tête du classement provisoire se hisse l’Université Nantes 2, en deuxième position UBS Lorient 1, puis Université Nantes 1 et IMT Nantes en troisième et quatrième places. Rien n’est encore joué puisqu’il reste deux jours de compétition. La suite du championnat s’annonce intense mais les étudiants sont plus que prêts et motivés.

Ils ont dit :

« Aujourd’hui c’était la première journée du TIP nous avons eu de la pluie, un peu de vent, ce n’était pas facile sur l’eau » Université Nantes 2.

« Trop bonne journée c’était super cool à bord, ça s’est bien passé avec l’ENSTA et l’organisation est toujours au top ! Du coup demain il y a une grosse dépression qui va passer sur le Cotentin, donc on verra comment ça va se passer. Visiblement a sera fort le matin et l’après-midi un peu moins fort donc on espère naviguer quand même » ENSTA Bretagne

[DAY 1 – THURSDAY 09 MARCH]
This Thursday marks the start of the French Championship and European University Cup! The 30 crews in competition have started off on a high note with more than 15 races in rough and rainy conditions. At the head of the provisional ranking is the University of Nantes 2, in second place UBS Lorient 1, then University of Nantes 1 and IMT Nantes in third and fourth place. Nothing is decided yet as there are still two days of competition left. The rest of the championship promises to be intense but the students are more than motivated.

« Today was the first day of the TIP, we had rain, a bit of wind, it was not easy on the water » University Nantes 2.

« Too good a day, it was very cool on board, it went well with ENSTA and the organisation is always top notch! Tomorrow there will be a big low-pressure system passing over the Cotentin, so we’ll see how it goes. Apparently it will be strong in the morning and a little less strong in the afternoon, so we hope to sail anyway » ENSTA Bretagne
